Sega is my first homebred girl, the one who started it all. She is, without question, the dog closest to my heart. My constant companion, my shadow, and my soulmate in dog form. Wherever I go, she wants to be there too, and if I have to leave her behind, I feel it just as much as she does. Producing a dog like Sega is something I will always be grateful for, and every single day she reminds me why I fell in love with this breed.

What truly sets Sega apart is her movement. It is simply breathtaking. Effortless, light, and incredibly efficient, she glides around the ring with the kind of balance and reach that turns heads wherever she goes. It is the quality that judges, breeders, and spectators notice immediately, and something that is becoming increasingly rare to find. Combined with her elegant outline, athletic physique, she is a Border Collie that leaves a lasting impression long after she leaves the ring.

As a youngster, Sega was a cheeky endlessly curious girl who was always looking for her next adventure. That intelligence and enthusiasm remain today, together with a natural instinct for stock work. Despite her energy, she has always been incredibly easy to live with. She is calm and impeccably behaved while travelling, takes busy environments like airports and international dog shows completely in her stride, and has the sweetest, gentlest nature with everyone she meets.

Although friendly with everyone, Sega has always been my dog. She forms an incredibly deep bond with her person and gives her whole heart to the one she trusts. 

As a brood bitch, Sega has made me just as proud. She consistently produces puppies with beautiful movement, athleticism, natural drive, and the sweet, willing temperaments that define our breeding program. Seeing her qualities carried forward into the next generation has been one of the greatest rewards of breeding.

Sega is, quite simply, everything I ever dreamed of producing. She is my firstborn, my greatest achievement, and a dog who will always hold a piece of my heart. I couldn't be prouder to call her an Unleashed Borders dog.
